Iqbal day celebrations 2024

The Competent Authority is pleased to direct that Iqbal Day 9m

November, 2024 be celebrated in all public and private schools across Punjab to

honor Allama Muhammad lgbal, Pakistan's national poet. This day is dedicated to

commemorate lqbal's contributions as a philosopher, poet, and a visionary who

played an instrumental role in the creation of Pakistan:

Salary paymeny to Insaf afternoon schools

I am directed to refer this department's earlier letter of even number dated

24.08.2023 on the subject noted above vide hich it was requested to pay the sala ies of the

teachers of Afternoon Schools Program in selected 22 Districts (Pilot Project) out of DEAS OWn

Budget. However, various complaints from teachers of Afternoon School Progr uTs flot

Project) of various Districts are being received In School Education Department rega ding non-

payments of their Honorarium / Salaries.

Smog holidays 2024

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Govemment of the Punjab and in

continuation of this department's earier notifications dated 03.11.2024 and

06.11.2024, in wake of prevaling smog conditions and reduced visibility, it is hereby

notified that all educational institutions (public/private), Including private tuition

centers upto Higher Secondary Level (12h Grade) in the Province of the Punjab

shall remain closed w.e.f. 13h November 2024 (Wednesday) till 17h November,

2024 (Sunday) and will shift to online mode.

Cancellation of temporary duties

It has been noticed vwith great concern that some Oflicials of Ministerial Cadre &

Teaehers including PSTS/ESTS/SSTS/SSHM etc. have been engaged to perform thcir duty

the oflices / schools other than their original place of postings in the shape of internal

dutiesattachments/temporary adjustment. This practice is against the spirit of the directions of

the AugusI Supreme Court of Pakistan. passed in the case titled llunnan rights as well as in

violation o' the instruetions circulated by the School Education Department.

NO. SO(ER-II)6-4/2018: In exercise of powers conferred under Section 4(1) and 4(6) of

the Punjab Education Initiatıve Management Authority Act, 2018, and in pursuance of the

approval by the Provincial Cabinet, the following are hereby appointed as Chairperson /

non-official members of Punjab Education Initiative Management Authority. with

immedate effect

Schools opening after smog closure

No.SO(A-)1-31/2022: Pursuant to order dated 18.11.2024 of Director General

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Government of the Punjab and in continuation

of this department's earlier notifications dated 15.11.2024, all Educational Institutions

(Public & Private) in the province of the Punjab except Lahore and Multan divisions

shall be opened w.e.f 19.11.2024 (Tuesday) with physical presence of students/staff

with following restriction /precautionary measures:

Updation of ECCE indicators on SIS before CENSUS

Kindly refer to the letter No. MEO-IV/M&E/2023-24/29379 dated November 13, 2024

regarding the schedule of Annual School Census, wherein CEOs - DEAs were requested to direct Schools to

rectify anomalies in SIS and submit correct data till November 20,2024 (Annex-A).

Owing to the above, you are requested to ensure the corection of anomalies in SIS, ECCE

Indicators data (where applicable) pertaining to PHCIP Schools as well following below details:

Celebration of global childrens day

You are well aware that "World Children's Day takes place

each year on 20 November. The day marks the United Nations General

Assembly's adoption of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959 as

well as the Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) in 1989". In this

regard you are directed to celebrate the Global Children's Day on 20-11-2024

in all Public & Private schools District Rajanpur.

SDP Rajanpur re-instated

Mr. Sultan Ali Khan, Senior Data Processor alo District Monitoring Office,

Rajanpur, therefore, is hereby reinstated in service we.t. 15.08.2024 and

directed to report back to the ofce of DMO, Rajanpur. He wilcontinue to draw

his monthly salary from the office of DMO, Rajanpur.

Avoid over stock of milk more than 15 days.

You have already been directed that you cannot have stocking

Milk for more than I5 days. But it is astonishing that many schools have stock

of exceeding 15 days. Please ensure no school receives milk that already has

stock of 15 days. (The copy of list schools is enclosed herewith).

In view of the above, you are directed not to receive Milk Stock

until the Milk Stock available less than 15 days
